D. PHARM – 2 YEARS

Pharmacy is a field in medicine which links health science with chemical science. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is an under graduate diploma programme in themedicinal field of Pharmacy which enables a candidate to know the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. After the completion of D.Pharm course, the candidates become a registered pharmacist and have a huge career scope both in government as well as private organizations.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

• Have passed 10 + 2 Science examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Bioscience/ Life-science) and/or Mathematics from C.H.S.E., Odisha or any examinationequivalent to it, approved by PCI. Candidatesmust have passed individually inPhysics, Chemistry, Mathematics /Biology, both in theory as well as practical. Studentof Vocational course/ Open University & distance education/correspondence courseare not eligible.
• Be in between 17 to 28 years of age.The upper age limit can berelaxed up to 5 years for candidatesbelongingtoS.C./S.T./ O.B.C./ S.E.B.C.categories&10yearsforPH candidates.
• Be a Native/Permanent Resident of Odisha. Such candidates shall furnish certificateof Nativity/Permanent Residentship of Odisha from appropriate authority.

B PHARM (4 Years)

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along withMathematics/ Biology subject.
